PB&J Oats

Peanutbutter & Jelly Oats

With this recipe, the magic of PB&J extends far beyond it's typical association with bread. These oats are creamy, fruity and will have you feeling like a kid again in no time.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 Cups Water

  • 1 Cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats

  • ¼ Cup Raisins

  • 1 mashed Banana & additional slices for topping

  • 1 Tbsp Molasses

  • 1 Cup Plant Milk

  • Cinnamon

  • ¼ cup chopped Apple

  • ¼ cup chopped Strawberries

  • 1 Tbsp Nut Butter or Powdered PB

  • 1 Tbsp Jelly

  • 1 tbsp ground Flax (optional)

Preparation

  1. Bring water to a simmer in a pot on the stove

  2. Add oats

  3. Mash the banana into the oats with a fork

  4. Add in the raisins, cinnamon, ground flax & molasses

  5. Pour in plant milk & cook until desired thickness has been reached

  6. Transfer to a bowl

  7. Top with sliced apples, strawberries & additional banana if you wish

  8. Add in a generous dollop of both nut butter & jelly of choice

  9. Enjoy!
