Cocoa Oats

Chocolate for breakfast?! Yes, indeed! This recipe creates the perfect bowl of not-too-sweet, healthy, satisfying and delicious chocolate oats. 


  • 1 Cup Water

  • 2/3 Cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats

  • 1 mashed Banana

  • 2 tsp sugar of choice

  • 2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder

  • 1 Tbsp Ground Flax

  • 2/3 Cup Plant Milk


  • Chopped Apple, Sliced banana and/or berries

  • Nut Butter or Powdered PB



  1. Bring water to a simmer in a pot on the stove

  2. Add oats

  3. Mash the banana into the oats with a fork

  4. Add in the cocoa powder, cinnamon, ground flax & sugar

  5. Pour in plant milk & cook until desired thickness has been reached

  6. Transfer to a bowl

  7. Top with sliced apples, nut butter, berries &/or additional banana if you wish

  8. Enjoy!
